ISO 16000-1:2004 is a standard that describes procedural frame work for performing indoor pollution monitoring, which is applicable to indoor environments like buildings having living rooms, bed rooms, recreation rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, work rooms, cellars, public buildings and vehicle cabins. It also extends to workplaces in buildings which are not subject to health and safety inspections with regards to air pollutants.
